Awarded Honorary Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery by the University of Edinburgh in 2020. I will be withdrawing my name from the active Register of the RCVS in March 2018, and retiring from clinical practice. I intend however to continue a career long interest in equine ophthalmology, albeit from a passive arm's length.
